on a run

I went on a rather lovely run on a dirt road by my house today.  I was kind of on edge the entire time, though.  it’s bear season right now, and since the Governor of Vermont isn’t safe from these furry guys, no one is.  I did see about 11 people wandering in the woods, all of whom waved hello.  we’re a friendly bunch up here.
