Confessions of a Shopaholic

September 11, 2009

Hi, my name is Anna and I have a problem.

Today I was done with class at 12:30 so I took a stroll over to South Side and unloaded some major cash on some fabulous finds at H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21.  After completing my shopping circuit, I had a little less cash to my name but my faith in my closet had been restored.

A new faux leather jacket from H&M was probably my favorite purchase, and I patted myself on the back for using my $25 off coupon on it.  After all, the economy isn’t doing that well, and we all have to cut corners somewhere.

I’ve been obsessed with jewelry recently; I want any and all rings, earrings, necklaces, you name it that I see and find appealing.  A year ago I couldn’t wear rings.  I just hated them and the way that they felt between my fingers.  I did like the way that they look though, so I forced myself to buy a little tiny silver ring at first and then get myself to wear the big, gorgeous ones that I love so much on other people.  My ring aversion is no longer, and I now have a sizable collection of vintage and new finds that I like to deck myself out with on a regular basis.P1030010P1030019P1030021Leather (faux!), florals, flannel, and metal are my must-haves for fall.

What’s on your list?

So I NEED that teal necklace. The chain gives it such a vintage-y vibe! I love that.

And I really want to stock up on a hot pair of boots, cute/baggy sweaters and some fun scarfs. You’d be surprised how cold it gets in Arizona in the wintertime!! :)
