lists

I already feel kind of drained after only 2 days of class. I’m not too concerned though, since I think I’m just too used to getting a full 10 hours of sleep and doing whatever I want all day. I think by the end of the week I’ll have snapped back into Carnegie Mellon mode and will get my butt back in the stressful, brain-draining swing of things.

In the meantime, I’m not feeling too inspired, but luckily The Dainty Vegan tagged me to fill out a few lists that should satisfy my urge to blog.

My Happy List

1

{slipping into a freshly made bed}

2

{feeling warm sunshine on my face}

3

{laughing uncontrollable}

4

{having someone play with my hair}

5

{scraping the sides of an empty peanut butter jar with a spoon}

6

{making a really pretty meal}

7

{walking through fresh, untouched snow}

8

{seeing animals play together}

9

{sitting in a chair with a big stack of unread magazines and a mug of tea}

10

{finding an amazing pair of shoes on sale and in my size}

7 Random Facts About Me

1

{I’ve never broken a bone}

2

{I organized my bookshelves by color so that they’re pretty but I can’t find anything}

3

{My 4th grade teacher was very superstitious and taught us impressionable young children about some of her quirks – I still say ‘Rabbits’ on the first of any month before I say anything else…well, when I can remember}

4

{I have 5 pairs of black leggings but would still like to find the perfect pair}

5

{I used to have a deadly allergy to bees. After years of painful therapy, I’m not allergic anymore but I still have an immense fear of them}

6

{I prefer fake maple syrup over the real stuff – and I’m from Vermont}

7

{I always check out the kids’ department of stores to see if they have any good deals on XL clothes}

Writing this lists actually have helped my mood a bit – feel free to complete your own!

    LOL on the first day of every month i say “rabbit rabbit.” it was something i saw on nickelodeon and for some reason it stuck with me. i’ve never heard of anyone else doing that though! i hope that once you settle in to your routine you’ll have more energy!

    Is there anything better than eating peanut butter out of the jar? My dad finished my last one, and I was embarrassingly upset about it. Good luck with this semester- I know CMU is a challenging place!

    I love your lists! And thank the goodness you aren’t allergic to bees anymore… it’s amazing you got over that!

    There are few things quite like getting into a clean bed or feeling the warm sun.

    lol, I do the same thing, checking out the kids section for XL clothes…sometimes, they fit, and I get ecstatic thinking about all the money I saved. So cheap-o! ;-)
