chocolate chip cookies

these have all of the fat, refined white flour, sugar, and flavor that you’ll ever need in a perfectly formed cookie.

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • chocolate chips, to taste
  1. Cream butter, shortening, and sugars together until smooth
  2. Add eggs and blend
  3. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl
  4. Gradually add flour mixture to the rest of dough
  5. Add all of the chocolate chips that your heart desires
  6. Bake at 375˚F on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8 – 10 minutes

best served warm with a big glass of your favorite milk or milk substitute.
