pumpkin bread + peanut butter

today it is a balmy 8* in Pittsburgh

it’s awful

to give me that extra caloric edge and to keep me warm and happy, I heated up a slice of my mom’s pumpkin bread that I’ve kept hidden in the freezer and topped it with some creamy peanut butter

it worked for like a second, and then I remembered how much I hate single-digit temperatures

spring break, come faster, please!

    Ughhh those PGH winters were one big factor in my leaving. It’s amazing how much “warmer” it is in NYC- still in the 20s today, but man, central PA is brutal.
