my room: a work in progress

I’v e been home in Vermont for 5 days now, and it’s killing me that I’m not totally moved in.  I know that it takes time, patience, and a lot of careful organizing to get resettled, but I am so tired of not knowing where anything is.  I just found my camera cord (so I can upload my 4th of July pictures soon) but I am still searching for my boxes of bracelets, one last suitcase with my favorite summer dresses, and the pillow that I like to cuddle with while I sleep.  I finally got my IKEA bed all assembled, and I have unpacked all of my cookbooks so that I can start experimenting in the kitchen.  it’s also hugely annoying because it is so stunningly gorgeous and sunny outside and there are so many things that I’d like to do besides dig through boxes and milk crates.

unpacking is just one of those things that you just have to do, so I’ll stop complaining and will keep on going.

(thanks for letting me vent)
